The Ombudsperson of Pahalwan Gurudeen Mahila Mahavidyalaya serves as an independent and impartial authority to address grievances raised by students in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner. The objective is to promote a healthy academic environment by ensuring justice, accountability, and effective grievance redressal.

Functions of the Ombudsperson
- Receive and examine complaints submitted by students.
- Hear both parties involved in the grievance.
- Recommend suitable remedial measures to the competent authority.
- Ensure that grievances are resolved in a fair and unbiased manner.
- Maintain confidentiality throughout the grievance redressal process.
- Submit reports and recommendations whenever required.
Types of Grievances
The Ombudsperson may consider complaints relating to:
- Admission-related issues
- Examination and evaluation matters
- Scholarship and fee-related concerns
- Academic facilities
- Library and laboratory services
- Student welfare issues
- Administrative matters affecting students
- Any other genuine grievance not resolved by the Internal Grievance Redressal Committee.
Grievance Redressal Procedure
- The student should first approach the Internal Grievance Redressal Committee (IGRC).
- If the grievance remains unresolved, the student may submit an appeal to the Ombudsperson.
- The Ombudsperson will examine the complaint, seek necessary information, and provide both parties an opportunity to be heard.
- Appropriate recommendations shall be made to the competent authority for necessary action.

Anonymous complaints or complaints without adequate supporting information may not be considered. Students are encouraged to provide complete details and relevant documents to facilitate prompt and fair resolution.
